While George W. Bush got tangled in its subtle logical intricacies, there is a folksy bit of advice citizens need to keep handy when dealing with politicians of all skunky stripes and varieties: “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.”
Present White House occupier aside, there is no politician where this is more true than Bill Clinton. Anyone conscious at the time can recall Clinton’s brash, self-righteous presentation when he sternly declared to the nation that he did not have “sexual relations” with young intern Monica Lewinsky. Now 21 years later in the midst of yet another — though far darker, sinister and downright evil — sex scandal, Clinton’s representative issued a statement regarding his long-time pal Jeffery Epstein’s past Justice Department pedophile conviction hand spanking and the new charges regarding sexual abuse and trafficking in girls as young as 12.
“President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York,” the statement from a Clinton spokesperson reads. “In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation.”

The HuffPost reported: “However, Clinton’s statement is contradicted by the actual flight manifests, which show the former president may have taken as many as 26 flights on Epstein’s plane between 2001 and 2003, The Daily Beast noted.”
The Associated Press reported: “Epstein was also an associate of Clinton’s, repeatedly lending the former president his jet to travel overseas. Flight logs obtained by Fox News showed the former president took at least 26 trips aboard Epstein’s Boeing 727, nicknamed the “Lolita Express,” from 2001 to 2003. That “included extended junkets around the world with Epstein and fellow passengers identified on manifests by their initials or first names, including ‘Tatiana,’” the outlet found.”
Some news accounts cite the number of flights at 27.

Back in 2015 Gawker noted that Clinton flew on Epstein’s private jet “more than a dozen flights with a woman who federal prosecutors believe procured underage girls to sexually service Epstein and his friends and acted as a ‘potential co-conspirator’ in his crimes.”
Fox News noted that investigative reporter Conchita Sarnoff reports, “Almost every time that Clinton’s name is on the pilot logs there are underage girls there are initials and there are names of many many girls on that private plane.”
And just to keep the stank, evil horribleness of it all in perspective, remember, the youngest under-age girl victimized by Epstein is reported to be 12.
At this point there are no allegations reported that Clinton — or long-time Epstein pal Donald Trump — had sexual contact with anyone on the flights.
The HuffPost noted that in his statement Clinton also denied ever visiting Epstein’s infamous Caribbean Island, site of reported debauched sex events: “Clinton also said he has not spoken to Epstein in “well over a decade” and “has never been to Little St. James Island, Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico or his residence in Florida.”
As reported by USA Today: “As part of its explosive investigation into the Epstein case published in November, the Miami Herald listed Clinton as one of his friends and associates, saying the ex-president often flew in Epstein’s plane and visited his island.” [Emphasis added.]
An island, BTW, that locals routinely refer to as “Pedophile Island”; a place they warned visitors to avoid.
Additionally, Clinton denied reports that on some of his Epstein junkets he ditched his Secret Service security detail. As with so many things Clinton, that appears to be a lie as well with Sarnoff reporting: “many of those times [flights] Clinton had his Secret Service with him and many times he did not.”
Who knows the truth of what happened on Clinton’s trips with Epstein? I certainly don’t. But one thing that is clear: Bill Clinton is lying … about scandal … again. How tiresome. This time, however, given the nature of the Epstein scandal, the questions and risks are far more serious than (as bad and exploitative as that case was) sex with a 23 year-old intern.
The dissolution of all empires is marked by the degradation and grimy debauchery of the ruling class and vicious plutocratic monsters feeding off the masses. That is what Epstein, in all his wealth-encrusted madness, is showing us. May investigators find the truth and no matter where that truth leads may all who are guilty be convicted, be they Republican or Democrat.
If there is any hope for us, it begins with justice for the children betrayed. If we can’t do that this nation is done.
